Stichting De Bredase Singelloop works closely with the Medical Assistance in Accidents and Disasters (GHOR). This organization ensures that medical care can be provided immediately, if necessary.
During the AMGEN Singelloop Breda the semi-trailer of the GHOR serves as the central post of medical care. Here is the coordinator of the GHOR present, together with members of the Red Cross and first aiders of the KNV First Aid department Breda. There is also a doctor on the Grote Markt. Spread over the course there are many first aiders active.
There is also a motor of the First Responder (a mini-ambulance on two wheels) and another engine with a doctor on the back. All these persons are in contact with each other and with the competition organization.
Important! Medical passport
On the back of your starting number, you are supposed to enter some information that may be of interest if you (have to) use medical assistance during the AMGEN Singelloop Breda. We advise you to make use of this possibility and to fill in this so-called medical passport as completely as possible.
Sports massage for all participants
The AMGEN Singelloop Breda focuses on injury prevention. By offering participants free sports massage, we encourage healthy, safe and above all enjoyable running. A team of professional sport masseurs is the participants at all distances of service at the Stedelijk Gymnasium. You can find them as part of your warming up or cooling down!
