5 KM Club Battle
FlowserveJoin the Flowserve Club Battle!
Compete with your club against other clubs! Are you between 10 and 15 years old and a member of a sports club or gym in Breda, Etten-Leur or surroundings? Then this is your chance to take up the challenge with your team! Register soon!
What does it entail?
- Run 5 km during the Breda Singelloop on Sunday, Oct. 5, encouraged by an enthusiastic crowd.
- Start jointly at 11:45 a.m.
- Wear your club jersey and team apparel and make your association visible!
- Let your club shine, have fun and make it a party!
Starting times
The Flowserve 5km club battle starts at 11:45 a.m., as part of the 5km performance run.
Start and finish locations
Start location: Claudius Prinsenlaan (near the City Office).
Participants in the 5 km Club Battle will all start at the back of the yellow section.
Through the finish on the Grote Markt, you will be directed to the runners’ quarter on the Kasteelplein.
This is where you will receive your medal, among other things, and leave the Kasteelplein at the back via the Valkenberg or Cingelstraat.

Prices
Participation costs €16 per person. Of this, €2,50 goes directly back to the coffers of your club and €2,50 to Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Breda. This way you not only support your own club, but you also help others to be able to play sports!
Are there members of your club who want to join the Flowserve Club Battle, but can’t afford it? Then there is a solution for that! For children for whom the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Breda pays the contribution, a compensation for participation in the Flowserve Club Battle can be requested.
How this works:
- For members of your club for whom the Youth Fund pays dues, a reimbursement for participation in the Flowserve Club Battle can be requested.
- You send the Youth Fund a message that there are members who want to use the fee.
- You make a list of members, with application numbers from the Youth Fund and the cost of participation in the Flowserve Club Battle (€16 per participant).
- You send this overview as an invoice to Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Breda, so that the Jeugdfonds can pay the costs.
- You yourself register the members, along with the other members who participate, for the Flowserve Club Battle and pay the registration fee.

Registration goes through your trainer, coach or team supervisor
Individual registrations are not possible
The trainer/coordinator registers the team via the group form
Practical info
What can you win?
💰 €500 – For the association with the fastest five runners.
💰 €300 – For the fastest individual association runner.
💰 €200 – For the association with the most participants.
If you are one of the winners, you will receive a check to spend on a youth activity of your choice. (Maximum of one prize per association.)

Partners Club Battle
This battle is a collaboration with Youth Fund Sport & Culture Breda and Breda Actief.
Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur Breda ensures that children and young people from families with less financial means can still participate in sports or culture. The Youth Fund pays directly to sports clubs or providers.
Don’t leave children on the sidelines, participation is important!
Breda Actief is the organization in the municipality of Breda that helps residents get moving. For young and old, with or without limitations. Together we ensure a sporty and inclusive city.
