Information for residents
The AMGEN Singelloop Breda brings, in addition to a lot of entertainment, a number of restrictions for residents. In consultation with the municipality and police, a traffic plan has been drawn up to make the event run as smoothly, but above all as safely as possible. This succeeds every year thanks in part to all the residents of the downtown area.
We will do everything possible to minimize the inconvenience to you. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, also on behalf of the approximately 19,000 runners and 600 volunteers. For more information about the Singelloop please visit our website.
Closures Downtown Breda
We would like to inform you about the limited accessibility of the city center during the AMGEN Singelloop Breda. This way you can anticipate this situation in time:
- the inner city (within the red line) will be difficult or impossible to access on
October 6 with little or no access between approximately 6 a.m. and 7 p.m; - residents and downtown business owners can only exit downtown Breda between 7 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. via Lunetstraat or Vierwindenstraat (see arrows);
- from 10:15 a.m. these intersections will also be closed and it will impossible to leave the center with a vehicle. Emergency services are of course exempt from this;
- we recommend parking your vehicle Saturday, Oct. 5, outside the girths;
- after 7 p.m., the city will resume normal access for both incoming and outgoing traffic.
