Information for participants
Timekeeping
Also, at the half marathon, the 5 km (also at the 10 km), 10 km, 15 km and 20 km finish times will be recorded. There are refreshment stations for all distances at the start, Marksingel, Tramsingel, Fellenoordstraat and after the finish (Kasteelplein). At the Kasteelplein, participants will be given water and Powerade. For participants in the half marathon, Powerade sports drinks will be distributed on the Fellenoordstraat in addition to water.
Lockers
Lockers are available where participants can deposit their (valuables) for a small fee.
These lockers are large enough to hold a bag of clothes. They can be found in the hall of the Rabobank, 100 meters away from the start.
Refreshment stations
Along the course our volunteers will be ready with sponges and water. There are refreshment posts for all distances at the start, Fellenoordstraat (10 km and half marathon), Café Markhoek, Tramsingel and after the finish (Kasteelplein). For the participants of the half marathon specifically, the isotonic drink Powerade will be available at the 12-kilometer point (Fellenoordstraat) in addition to water.
At the Kasteelplein, participants will be given water, an isotonic sports drink Powerade and a protein bar from HERO. Fruit will also be handed out by Albert Heijn after the finish.
Medical passport
Enter your informationOn the back of the start number, participants can enter their personal (medical) information. This information can be of great importance if medical assistance must be used during the AMGEN Singelloop. So please fill out the medical passport completely!
Running on an end time
PacerAt the 5 km, the 10 km and the half marathon, participants can use pacers. These are experienced runners who guide participants to a predetermined finishing time. The pacers are clearly recognizable by a flag on their back with the finish time on it. You do not have to sign up for this, just look for ‘your’ pacer at the start and walk with her/him to the desired finish time.
