
Since 2004, hundreds of Amphia employees have been participating in the Breda Singelloop. Again this year, 270 employees were at the start line to contribute to good health and connection with each other and the city in a festive way. To continue the cooperation, Amphia signed another 3-year contract with us to promote vitality inside, but also outside, Amphia.
During the official signing moment, Christianne Lennards, vice chairman of Amphia’s Executive Board indicated that Vitality and health are very important to them as a hospital. Not only for Amphia’s employees, medical specialists and volunteers, but also for the residents of the Breda area.”
Willem Butz, chairman of the Breda Singelloop foundation is pleased to have Amphia as a vitality partner. “This partnership contributes to our ambition to get people moving in a burgundy environment. Exercise creates more vital people who in turn can contribute more to their environment so that we can all enjoy this more.”
It’s great to work toward a common goal, but in addition to encouraging people to (start) exercising, Amphia is also increasingly focusing on the importance of prevention.
MISSION OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Amphia helps patients take good care of themselves. They pay attention to healthy lifestyles and increasingly focus on prevention. People who live healthy lives can stay at home as long as possible and require less (medical) care. And if someone does have to go to the hospital, what is needed to prevent illness as much as possible or to make it less severe. This includes lifestyle topics.
Of course, a healthy lifestyle includes exercise. Christianne: ”As a proud vitality partner of the Singelloop, we therefore like to contribute to the connecting factor of this well-known running event, to encourage people to exercise. This way, together we can make Breda a vital city.”
